It’s been some time since I’ve updated everyone on my latest project.
The draft is coming along nicely. Alan and I are about 95% finished with the first draft. Of course that final 5% is the hardest as we don’t want to lose the reader during the “big fight.” I’ve even managed to squeeze in some time to do my first polish pass on the first 75%. My meager skills are telling me it’s in better shape than I thought it was. Another month, and I think we’ll be done.
I’m attending the Surrey International Writers’ Conference this weekend where I’ll pitch the book to some of the agents. Hopefully, one of them (or more) will be interested enough to ask for our materials.
