I looked out my backyard window this morning and saw it snowing…leaves. Now, living in the Dallas/Fort Worth region doesn’t afford much of an opportunity to experience the four different seasons, so when I actually catch a fall rainbow of colors falling from my trees, it’s exciting.
Lex Bont the Wonder Dog didn’t find it that amazing though. He ran onto the back patio and skidded to a halt, his long, sausage-like body lifting from the rear while his front feet dug in. Anything out of the ordinary forces him to go through a calibration routine. Once he figured out the leaves were just leaves, he strutted out into the yard while he looked over his shoulder to see if I saw him do that or not.
