Jumblebook has accepted two of my short stories for publication.
“Rocket Fuel” is a 1,250-word original, creative non-fiction about my childhood friend, Scotty, and me. As eighth-graders in 1979, we got it in our heads to build and launch our own rocket. First though, we had to make our own fuel.
“Rocket Fuel” is an anecdote that will eventually end up in the second edition of Transplanted Yankee: Lest All My Balderdash Be Forgotten.
The second, “Concerning the Affairs of Jeremiah James,” is a reprint from The Moon Magazine.
